Horrors abound

Whispers and cadence call forth to the forest
An ancient song beckons them to push on


Lost out there
Spinning in circles to never return to the dead harbor
Pandemonium
Sounds all around
Uniformity fades
Eyes drawn to the corpses littering the ground

Weary hunters
Drowsy and beaten down by the cold autumn rain
No shelter here beneath the trees
Searching miles
Dredging through putrid soil arriving at a cave
The source of all this despair
