A chase without a dream
I stare at the midnight sun
They called without a warning
They said I had to leave
Exposed to everyone
Here without a meaning
I question every call, question every move
Minus what I am feeling and the shadows
Outside
A mystery under crescent moon


Precautionary measures taken into
Consideration of the formal kind
Token stares are filled with pain
Or just die a death of which you would have in
Time seen your life through
Maybe one or two, even six if needed
Taken from what I know is yours
Managed to ignore, call it contradiction
Waiting for the sign to move in and break your
