Troopy's Blues Songtext

Troopy's Blues Songtext

I keep the night light on
'cause my parents are gone.
Think I'm gonna cry,
'cause I don't know why.

I make a lot of noise
when I play with my toys.
I better try to settle down.
That's what they're always tellin me.

Something about this child is coming undone.

I bounce off the walls.
And now I sit in the halls.
It's looking pretty bleak.
Let's go and play some hide and seek.

Looks like we got a kid who's a step behind.

I'm gonna miss that kid.
I'm gonna miss that kid.

I talk kind of fast
(I swear I mean it I'll try not to do it again I promise)
Better go to my room.
Before they lower the boom.

I hear the sounds of
dreams breaking down
and it's getting late
I hope this nightmare's winding up soon.

I'm gonna miss that kid.
I'm gonna miss that kid.
