If She Wasn't on Blocks Songtext

If she wasn′t on blocks, she'd be the queen of the road.
She′d be the princess of asphalt, if her engine weren't blown.
If she only had shocks, we'd be out every weekend.
We′d drive clear cross Wisconsin, if she wasn′t on blocks.

I picture me and Daisy Lee (?) in the front seat.
I got my tube top around my waist (?),
And my feet sticking right out the window.
And her and me and 10 or 12 friends,
And a six pack of Hamms, Ted Neugent jams on my new 8-track player.
God hear my prayer.

If she wasn't on blocks, she′d be the queen of the road.
She'd be the princess of asphalt, if her engine weren′t blown.
If she only had shocks, we'd be out every weekend.
We′d drive clear cross Wisconsin, if she wasn't on blocks.

All she needs is just a transmission, and a drive belt,
And a camshaft, and a rear view mirror, and a headlight,
And a bumper, and a radiator, (?) and a hood, and a back seat,
And a front seat, and a radio, and a searing wheel, and a dash board,
And a rear view mirror,
And a rear view brake light,
And a front end license plate, (?), and a lighter.

Then I'd drive her.

If she wasn′t on blocks, she′d be the queen of the road.
She'd be the princess of asphalt, if her engine weren′t blown.
If she only had shocks, we'd be out every weekend.
I′d drive her clear cross Wisconsin, if she wasn't on blocks.
