The Preface Songtext
von The Littlest Man Band
The Preface Songtext
I turned all the lights off, tried to find my way around
I stuffed my ears with cotton so I couldn′t hear a sound
I covered my mouth with tape so I wouldn't scream for help
I had to prove to everyone I could do this by myself
But I asked some friends to come along to see if we could work it out We sweat and slaved and with all we gave this is all that came out
A high wire act with acrobats and no safety net
Keep your eyes wide open ′cause you ain't seen nothin' yet
So may I introduce to you the one and only Littlest Man Band
Telling a story of a boy and his friend entitled ′Better Book Ends′
