Iris Songtext
At the last drag of the lake
My Iris said that I had been mistaken
And there wasn′t an awful lot missing
So I lay down
At the last cross of the dogs
My Iris saw that all the light left lying
On the ground was lifting
So I lay down
And when the women were awake
My Iris found that they had made a circle
And filled the room with singing
So I lay down
And in the low blue light of autumn
My Iris learned my eyes had hardened
And beside you I can close them
So I lay down
So I lay
So I lay
So I lay down
So I lay
So I lay
So I lay down
So I lay
So I lay
So I lay down
My Iris said that I had been mistaken
And there wasn′t an awful lot missing
So I lay down
At the last cross of the dogs
My Iris saw that all the light left lying
On the ground was lifting
So I lay down
And when the women were awake
My Iris found that they had made a circle
And filled the room with singing
So I lay down
And in the low blue light of autumn
My Iris learned my eyes had hardened
And beside you I can close them
So I lay down
So I lay
So I lay
So I lay down
So I lay
So I lay
So I lay down
So I lay
So I lay
So I lay down
