Once there was a whisper so slight that nobody heard
Then quietly, it began to take over
And the mystery was explained away

With everything accounted for, this cold calculated heart tore
And it′s taking away everything that the mystic gave

So now I walk backwards from this cold and empty room
And gather everything I left, take it out of this tomb
Sanitized, devoid of life, completely empty
All that stands in this temple is one naked and fruitless tree
