Anti-matter′s fall, the beginning of all
Dividing up the forces of nature
Primordial blast shrouded in mystery
Accelerating, drifting galaxies

A shockwave came from a distant death
And condensed the clouds of creation
Helios drew his first breath
Awakened to scorch the dance of destruction

Why are we here?
What is our purpose?
When we are destined to die and fade away
Why do we care?
In the vastness of the unknown
Are we alone?
What lies beyond our reach?
One day we might know


Inhospitable giants of metal and stone
Bathed in poisonous rays
Collisions of awesome velocity
Explosions of possibility

Asteroids forged by gravity's might
Only a few would emerge from the fight
Now eight titans linger in the aftermath
Alone they are shackled to their eternal paths

And life emerged
Through chemistry
The elements were granted by the stars
Common ancestor
A single cell
Evolved and took over the world

Why are we here?
What is our purpose?

We feel so alone
