Lights his vessel in the night
He lies there silent on the edge
Moving within motion

His world is this ocean
He sees a crimson realm
Through a rusted ash-stained porthole
As all things fade away


Lost down amongst the fiery dead
The currents force him further
He is cursed in the depths
The realm of forgotten wrecks

Through his eyes a sky aflame
A dreamless horizon, an entity
Down below a voiceless ocean
The invocation remains unspoken

"Trust in me, dismal squall
I have burned for decades
Trust in me, wretched winds
When I have turned to dust


My knowledge shall be lost
My descendants will corrupt
My legacy all destroyed
In the wildfire"
