I had a horse
Black as the night
That lightly flew from hill to hill
Could see the road in mellow dim
And always played the rider′s will
Her lips where soft like velvet kiss
Of darkness hidden in her mane
E-e-e-e-e-e
I had a cow
Huge as the moon
With bright blue eyes and silver horns
She had a spot like sun in June


And carrying tall a crown of thorns
She slowly walked and lordly swayed
Like thunder echoing she lowed
O-o-o-o-o-o
I had a dog
Faster than flames
Life giving to the fuzzy world
He was the movement – sweep and play
Awakening new and keeping old
He loudly barked and boldly fought
And often died in dreams for me
