My love for you locked my spirit in this prison cell

I found myself screaming alone in the darkness
Because I've closed my eyes when your shadows were revealed
I wanted to save you from yourself and cast away your demons
You left me alone on this battlefield


The coldness of your touch was an enemy I couldn′t defeat
My heart was a freezing solider begging for your heat
I know you heard me cry at nights, you knew my smile was fake
My soul was like a wilted flower when my body was still awake
