Oma’s Song Songtext

Oma’s Song Songtext
Last night we lost one of our greatest
She passed away peaceful, asleep
77 years wiser, the family grieves
I guess she was determined to be somewhere else, left us her legacies, they′re on our shelf
And I want that for myself, so while I still have my health, I'll be there to make our Oma′s memory proud
Where should we believe life calls home now?
Everyone believes heaven or hell
Well I still have my doubts it's that simple
Let's finally live for something, greater than ourselves
Death brings us painful reminders, that all life must perish the same,
May a mindful existence transpire, that′s all we need
So leave one candle burning and don′t forget why, mistakes, well I'm still learning to get by
But I won′t back down, yea we all belong
I sense the tides are turning, our destiny's right now
In the afterlife conundrum, mysteries abound
