The Self as a Wave Songtext
von Steve Amber

The Self as a Wave Songtext

Since my mind left the dock
This odyssey
Has changed my deck block by block
If I′m stuck in the shallows
This odd sea
Spits out Moby Dicks to follow
Now every plank's been replaced
Is this ship still the same
- just ′cause it bears its original name?
It easy, just splash on a fresh coat of paint
My mind ain't fixed, it propagates

Oceans and Seas are the ether
Oceans and Seas are the ether
Oceans and Seas are the ether

Like fire
I breathe out what was eaten
Drink the sea
Split dioxygen
Cells are swapped for new ones
As I feast
On starving waves of stardust
And so, is this ship still the same?

Oceans and Seas are the ether
Oceans and Seas are the ether
Oceans and Seas are the ether
Oceans and Seas are the ether
Waves like me are the conscious universe
