The Dreams of a child
Are shattered like glass on the floor
Covered in blood the reflection broken
Hopeless and downtrodden
Living a life so desolate
I watch as time fades
And all that I loved is gone


Can you help me find release
Nothing can bring me peace
Forsaken from the beginning
Destined for Failure
No repentance for my sins
Satin stalks with a grin
Wandering through the night
Searching for the light

Is life as hopeless as it seems
Is there no solace for me
