I feel the ashes swirl around me
I′m covering my eyes
Looking down on dried up soil
Been walking on for miles
Abandoned houses
I'm waiting for a sign of life
I′m waiting for a guiding light
No hills or valleys
And as I walk these roads I find
A wasteland of an empty mind

Why is there no end in sight?
As all these years are passing by.
Memories of better days
Are slowly fading into grey

Covering my lungs
Gazing into fallen skies
I'm always on the run


Close to the ruins
The remnants of an empty home
Forgotten people left alone
No roof or shelter
And as I lose myself I find
Reflections of a broken mind
