GREEN RAIN Songtext
Harereba utsuro ni senro wo katamuki
hakari sabitsuki, ashimoto sukuware
doko made tsudukureru wo mieru ka?
saki wa makkuro, asa da to iu no ni
Densha mo konai, houmu de tatazumi
atama ga warete, kagami mo wareteku
doushita mono ka kangaete ite mo
nanimokanimo ga uso ni miete kuru
Sou sa, biru no kage nizu to
kakurete demo mitsukaru no sa
midori iro no ame datte furu no sa
2:
Me no mae ni ochita, nani ga ochita no ka?
atari makkuro, atama ga masshiro
ashita no tameiki, ni no me no tameiki
kuzureta kabe ni hanayome ga mau yo
Densha no kiteki, nihon no hikari ga
chikatsuite kuru boku no me no mae ni
sono hikari tachi ga ruube de atsumete
biru no kage ga kogeru no wo matsu no sa
2 (into Bridge):
Sou sa, biru no kage nizu to
kakurete demo muda na no sa
zuibun to mae ni
Kimi no egaita keshiki sagashi
konna tooku made kita kedo
kimi no mite ita keshiki to sukoshi
sukoshi chigatta mitai da
Naze da ka wakaru you de, wakaranai yo
Mata surechigai da...
shinigami-san yo, tsureteke, boku wo, jigoku e
Docchi ga jigoku da?
Kono sekai wa kimi no mono dakedo
Sukoshi boku ni mo kure yo
Kimi no egaita keshiki sagashi
konna tooku made kita kedo
kimi no mite ita keshiki to sukoshi
sukoshi chigatta mitai da
Naze da ka wakaru you de, wakaranai yo
Mata surechigai da...
3:
Ashita no tameiki, sando no tameiki
saki wa makkuro, asa da to iu no ni
aoi kumo kara midori no ame furi
akai kimochi mo shiroku ni atte kuru
3:
Sou sa, makkuro na biru no kage nizu to
kakurete demo muda na no sa
midori iro no ame datte furu no sa!
English Translation:
If it gets sunny, I′ll slope my way down a track in the clearing,
all rusted and peeling away. I am swept up off of my feet.
Can you see how far the track leads?
The way ahead is pitch-black, even though it's supposed to be morning.
The train still hasn′t come, I stand, waiting on the platform.
My head shatters, and so does the mirror.
Even as I wonder what's going on,
everything around me starts to look like a lie.
That's right.
Even if I hide in the shadow of the buildings,
I′ll always be found
the green rain will fall.
It fell right before my eyes. What was it that fell?
Everything is pitch-black, and my head is all white.
Tomorrow′s sigh, the second sigh.
A bride dances atop a crumbled wall.
The train's whistle- Two beams of light
come closer before my eyes.
I gather the lights in a magnifying glass
and I wait for the building′s shadow to burn.
That's right.
Even if I hide in the shadow of the buildings,
it′s useless.
But before long...
Although I've come this far
searching for the scenery which you drew,
it seems to be a little different
from the place that you saw.
Why that is, I can sort of understand,
and yet I can′t.
I've gotten off topic again.
Death,
take me away to hell.
Which one of these is hell?
This world belongs to you,
but let me have just a little bit of it.
And though I've come this far
searching for the scenery which you drew,
it seems to be a little different
from the place that you saw.
Why that is, I can sort of understand,
and yet I can′t.
I′ve gotten off topic again.
Tomorrow's sigh, a third sigh.
The way ahead is pitch-black, even though it′s supposed to be morning.
Green rain falls from blue clouds,
and red feelings turn all white.
That's right.
Even if I hide in the pitch-black shadow of the buildings,
it′s useless!
the green rain will fall.
