Fossil Songtext

I am a fossil set in stone
Discovered by voices that this was over thrown
I am forced to remain here until the rain falls
It drenches my body so I can run through walls

You can squirm all you want
They will find you, it′s a part of the hunt
You can tell them to leave but they won't listen
You have done something wrong and that′s no secret

I know how this may look
We're out here in the wild, you aren't mistaken
But I′ve never felt so surrounded
We′re not going to have our lives wasted away

I've fallen down
I′ve fallen down
I've fallen down
Please hope...
I′ve fallen down
I've fallen down
I′ve fallen down
Please hope I'll be alright

Look at my actions, not my words
My evasion is misunderstood
Under the covers is where we get high
Exhaling our monsters and choking them dry

Red and purple flickers in the distance, I'm no different
Catching our breath as we run for dusk to cover us
We can stay here for as long as we want
They won′t find us, it′s a part of the fun

I know how this may look
We're out here in the wild, you aren′t mistaken
But I've never felt so surrounded
We′re not going to have our lives wasted away

I've fallen down
I′ve fallen down
I've fallen down
Please hope I'll be alright
I′ve fallen down
I′ve fallen down (I'll be alright)
I′ve fallen down
Lover please hope I'll be alright
I′ve fallen down
I've fallen down (I′ll be alright)
I've fallen down
Lover please hope I'll be alright
