Mauersyndrom Songtext
von Sebastian Melmoth

Mauersyndrom Songtext

I′ve got a little sister, she's ten feet tall
I tried to look over her shoulder, but I′m too small
On the other side I see the skies glow red
I can't get the smell of poverty out of my head

My little sister has a few close friends
They all have rifles and perch themselves on top of the fence
In the back yard she keeps lots of hungry dogs
They are keen to strip off your flesh, so don't get too close

My little sister′s body is made from poured concrete
Her waist stretches for mile across many streets
Works of art get painted all over her western face
When the curtain falls, I′ll go in for that stoic embrace

I want a hat with a red star on it
It's made from bears and has earflaps tied to the side
I want an inferior automobile
It costs me nothing, but replacement parts don′t seem to exist
I want an empty supermarket
And ration tokens only valid for antifreeze
I want to live in communal housing
With no heating and a dozen people to a room
