Ubiety Songtext

Ubiety Songtext

The way she inundates
Moving akin to the ocean
She′s up above the factory city
It's so apparent to me that it′s heaven up there
So far away

So high up she can't even see the complexities anymore
And I know she probably shouldn't anyway
What else can be done?
Just admire
Admire all the motion because what I should be

I will always be

With my hands buried in the dirt
The inactive devices are finally quelled
It′s all for us all
For some time my mouth is shoveled full of kindness
It tastes like coal and sick soil
And a smoke stack replaces my head
And you know that brings me to my knees

Now I am more myself than I can ever be
And again my life begins

Eternally I will cough and spit out incandescent smog
Dripping with crude oil
My ears are waterproofed to survive the consistent floods
It sounds so bad but it′s actually humbling
To be in this world of respectable oceans
And industry alone with all of my selves

I look up through the smoke
And see that glimmer of sun on the lips of the wave
Always recalling the exact motions
Just briefly before drowning bliss

This is part of my payment
But the heart, I swear, is a wise investor
And here I stay
Until the tides cease
Until the tides dissolve me
Us
