So many today are just happy to be dormant-
It′s a feeling that comes so naturally.
To lie on the waves,
And float on the ocean:
The simplest of motions.


So I get confused about my generation-
Where's our confidence in future?
These weekly celebrations
Are just moments,
Fulfilling but hollow,
To meet in a crowd and follow.

So many today are just happy to be dormant-
It′s a feeling that keeps coming back to me.
But it's such a long time till tomorrow-
To be in a crowd and follow.
