It was the most anti-singing, I was like

I like singing 'cause I see its purpose now

A purpose for using my actual voice
Yeah, it's a whole other character (mmhm, it is, yeah)
But, at the time I was so pissed off about it
I, I actually didn′t like it at all
Why were you pissed off about it?

I just, I wasn′t a singer, I felt like it was taken away from
Yeah, you said that you didn't wanna sing
Because you didn′t want people to ever see you
Anything more than a guitarist
And you wanted to be well-known for, as-as a guitarist (yeah)
And you, you thought that that would take away from that
