Windows tall and wide, no curtains or blinds; contents on display
When I look outside, can't help that my eyes start wandering its way

On the second floor, a man is doing chores
It all unfolds like clockwork
Two stories up, with her favorite coffee cup
A woman does the crossword
On the floor below, someone's on the phone
Chatting like a songbird
Saw this all by chance, as I tended to my plants
It's not my fault they needed water
