So I grew a wonder tree
But the tree had a blue surprise

I found myself a blue eyed girl
She kissed me with lips, red like wine
Changed into pigeons we flew away
To the corners of the sky

So I fell in love with my pigeon girl
Built her a house white like snow
Changed into a seagull she flew away
Left me slowly turning old
