I slipped away
Reached too high too soon to find my way back down again

I′d stay
Up here looking down on the people I thought I used to know
Seeming further and further below

You could scale the mountain
You're halfway up the lava pot - your caution is your pain
And your foothold′s crumbling

There's a shrink
In my head he tries to tell me I should let it go


I search for a link
There's nothing here, no one there, I′m looking for a grip in a cloud
I′m just lost and unfound

But the cloud dissipates
Like the fresh smoke from a nuclear plant, fades in the sky
Seems like everything just passed me by

I was burned alive
People around me were sitting ducks
I closed myself, to fight the pain
But in my slumber the world went insane

I can't stand the sound of people
It cuts my eyes and it cuts my ears
