O God I have something to say
My flesh is weak my spirit is meek
And I′m down on my knees again
Soul searching never takes me anywhere but here
They say I'm a lost cause just cut the loss
Take what you still have and catch the last train out of here

I′ve walked miles and I don't know where I'm headed
I′ve walked miles and now the road has ended
Spirit of truth, carry me through, give me a vision

Everyone I know finds some way of belonging
But I′m always outside, guilty as tried
Fading away while the credits roll down
One foot out the door is how I have learned to live
I know there's a better way for me today
And I′m out to find it


I'm not too proud to beg and plead
Lord you know I am weak from walkin these
