I′ve got a melody in my head
Doesn't work without a drum set
But if I strum the song on an acoustic, baby it works and I might have to use it
Once I get a rhythm and a perfect feel, every other layer will begin to peel
But if I wait for the song to write itself, I′ll soon forget the song and it turns to hell
I've got a rhythm for the melody
Kinda sorta fits but it don't fit for me
Switch the guitar over to an electric
Turn up the volume and tune down a half step
Need a little feature that can hold it together
Need a bowkell to make the song better


Give it a twirl and it gives me a twister like central heat in the dead of the winter
