Moon In The Glass Songtext

Moon In The Glass Songtext

The bend in the road where the boy use to go
Collecting firewood. in the Winter with the sledge in the Snow

Coming along down the road where the pitieps used to be
Where the boy would seek adventure and blackberry′s

Lying along is the only boy awake
Isolation in the dormitory of this ancient place

The panels of wood tell him of all those mysteries of past
The giant window frames his vision of the moon in the glass

So long ago so far away
That s how you see it now but you know how this things change

You know it was never like that
No it was never like that

Looking outside he pictures the distant lands
Where he will go like a troubadour or a sailor long a go

The years go by and the boy becomes a man
But still in side somethings calling him
Like a moon calls the tide

So long ago so far away
That s how u see it now but you know how this things change
You know it was never like that
Know it was never like that

Driving along where the old smoky town used to bee
The moon is in his mirror
He knows a certain kind of piece

Red in the light and the blue flashing light on strangers
Faces as they gear inside the wreckage newer knowing why smiled

So long ago so far away
That's how u see it now but you know how this things change
You know it was never like that
Know it was never like that
