Objects with densities of greater than a kilogram per metre cubed will sink in water
That′s why metal objects sink
That's why boats seem to disappear from the bottom up: because they′re made of metal and are supposed to sink
Otherwise they'll get shouted at by people on the internet
On a flat earth boats will be made from wood to combat this problem
