Butterflies on the Moon Songtext

Seven hours
Field of flowers
Butterflies on the moon
Eastern Kyoto
Matsumoto′s
I hope you get well soon
Swimming pools full of chlorine
What the hell is that supposed to mean
I'm so sorry that I did that
At the end of the road there′s a black cat

I broke my bones back in February
It gave me quite a fright
One year later and I'm surfing in Hawaii
Still having lonely nights
I just wish I could leave it all behind
And throw it all away
I just wish I could clear my mind
And enjoy everyday
My feet are in the sand and there's water on my body
I do the best I can to keep my brain from rotting
Suicidal thoughts but I won′t ever do it
I keep a loaded gun with me but I′m too scared to use it

Seven hours
Field of flowers
Butterflies on the moon
Eastern Kyoto
Matsumoto's
I hope you get well soon
Swimming pools full of chlorine
What the hell is that supposed to mean
I′m so sorry that I did that
At the end of the road there's a black cat

Is there a heaven
Is there a hell
Will I be there by myself
I′m not excited for when the day comes
That I'm lying in a hearse
Whatever′s waiting on the other side
Surely can not be worse
My feet are in the sand and there's water on my body
I do the best I can to keep my brain from rotting
Suicidal thoughts but I won't ever do it
I keep a loaded gun with me but I′m too scared to use it

Seven hours
Field of flowers
Butterflies on the moon
Eastern Kyoto
Matsumoto′s
I hope you get well soon
Swimming pools full of chlorine
What the hell is that supposed to mean
I'm so sorry that I did that
At the end of the road there′s a black cat
