I prayed for happiness and health
But God seeks endless wealth
And that doesn't matter

Pray that all the world starts to understand

Pray away the suffering, the hunger, and the fear
It disappears

When I pray for blessings heaven-sent
But God is not your friend
And that′s all that matters


I prayed for love and world peace
But war defends beliefs
In things that don't matter
