Horizon moves forwards to greet me

Awaiting the end to greet me tomorrow
The failures and lies of this life
Strangles, and ties me down

The endless grey
Purging our thoughts
We purvey
An existence of no meaning

And grey we see in our eyes
For our souls are cracked and broken
Then the end of our life
And the words we left unspoken


Crestfallen and meek in the light
A grain of bleakness upon my life
Feel the gentle touch of the end
Soothing and his arms open
