Romantic Poetry Songtext
von Nina Nesbitt
Romantic Poetry Songtext
You were standing by the door
Painting pictures in my head
And I keep petals on the floor (Floor)
We could make a garden with the garments ′round the bed
One touch, two lips
My hands, your grip
Blackout, we kiss
Shadows, eclipse, my heart it skips
Hate to admit, think I'm addicted to the thrills
You make me feel my heart of steel
It′s melting like a pool of ice
Floating like a butterfly
When I look into your eyes
I'm reading in-between these lines
And it's all coming over me
Like a fool with a fantasy
What a dangerous placе to be
Lost in my romantic poetry
And it′s all coming over mе
Like the rain on my balcony
What a beautiful place to be
Lost in my romantic poetry
Daydream, I seem aquamarine
I′m underwater, can't breathe
′Cause the air above me
My eyes feels like swimming pools
When you leave me, feeling blue
Every time I'm next to you, I lose my cool
Melting like a pool of ice
Floating like a butterfly
When I look into your eyes
I′m reading in-between these lines
And it's all coming over me
Like a fool with a fantasy
What a dangerous place to be
Lost in my romantic poetry
And it′s all coming over me
Like the rain on my balcony
What a beautiful place to be
Lost in my romantic poetry
So lost in my romantic poetry
You're standing by the door
Painting pictures in my head
And I keep petals on the floor
We could make a garden with the garments 'round the bed
Painting pictures in my head
And I keep petals on the floor (Floor)
We could make a garden with the garments ′round the bed
One touch, two lips
My hands, your grip
Blackout, we kiss
