Nidellavir Songtext

Nidellavir Songtext
A sea where no ship may sail
An ocean of water as air
Waves of cloud churn as the winds
Turbulent and beautiful, utterly untouchable
Nidavellir
The sea of mist
Nothing lies below
White sails blow in the wind
They catch the air
The ship lurches forward
And cuts the cloud
I sail on
An impossible sea
Our journey begun
To the ends of the earth
And like the sea this place has it′s storms
Wind and rain batter her hull
Timber creaks and the sails tear
The mast ablaze with St. Elmo's fire
I sail on
This impossible sea
Our journey, so long
Was it not meant to be?
We are battered and worn
Yet the clouds keep us afloat
No destination, no course to chart
The golden sun is a mighty guide
It′s rays make the damage difficult to hide
In shadows lurk the nightmares of man
In them we see where horrors began
Nidavellir
The sea of mist
Nothing lies below
And into the depths we go
An ocean of water as air
Waves of cloud churn as the winds
Turbulent and beautiful, utterly untouchable
Nidavellir
The sea of mist
Nothing lies below
White sails blow in the wind
They catch the air
The ship lurches forward
And cuts the cloud
I sail on
An impossible sea
Our journey begun
To the ends of the earth
And like the sea this place has it′s storms
Wind and rain batter her hull
Timber creaks and the sails tear
The mast ablaze with St. Elmo's fire
I sail on
This impossible sea
Our journey, so long
Was it not meant to be?
We are battered and worn
Yet the clouds keep us afloat
No destination, no course to chart
The golden sun is a mighty guide
It′s rays make the damage difficult to hide
In shadows lurk the nightmares of man
In them we see where horrors began
Nidavellir
The sea of mist
Nothing lies below
And into the depths we go
