Adam's War Songtext
von Music on Hold
Adam's War Songtext
Adam lost a battle when he was in his prime
Part of a war he′d be doomed to fight
When in middle high he was given for free
What his pals would pay a dime
Adam had to cope with an all-time high
So hang on, hold tight
The floor is now the ceiling
Yet you can't walk upside down
When PCP wins over the mind
As he pressed his hand against the cold
And concrete subway station′s floor
Adam saw his world coming to an end
Adam got stuck into his own mind
Six months of dizzy, distant sounds
And everytime it hits again he gets confused as mixed feelings arise
Adam's sent back into merrier times
So hang on, hold tight
The whole world is collapsing
Yet you're doing pretty fine
As long as you don′t dig into your own mind
As you grasp your sheets deep in your bed
Pressing your knees up on your chest
You seem to be right where you belong
Part of a war he′d be doomed to fight
When in middle high he was given for free
What his pals would pay a dime
Adam had to cope with an all-time high
So hang on, hold tight
The floor is now the ceiling
Yet you can't walk upside down
When PCP wins over the mind
As he pressed his hand against the cold
And concrete subway station′s floor
Adam saw his world coming to an end
Adam got stuck into his own mind
Six months of dizzy, distant sounds
And everytime it hits again he gets confused as mixed feelings arise
Adam's sent back into merrier times
So hang on, hold tight
The whole world is collapsing
Yet you're doing pretty fine
As long as you don′t dig into your own mind
As you grasp your sheets deep in your bed
Pressing your knees up on your chest
You seem to be right where you belong
