A highly prized practice absent from questioning

Preach all you like, we made up our minds, a long time ago
And the same goes for you, delusional in your own happiness
Try to share to unwilling ears


And I wish I could say I see the person before the assumptions
But they plague my mind like some evolutionary trait
And I′ve never been one for confrontation
But I like to argue my point

Speaking has never been my strong point
When I stumble of the path when it becomes too much
You're there to guide me to comfort and console
Finding where I stand through those who guide me
And when I grow old
Will I know what I should've done?
