Why do we need these things?
A fresh promise of a brand new day, with added complexity
Where we have drifted from the past
With simplicity of everything and worries we control

Wind, rain, sun is all we see
The fallacy of man innovating destruction
Hate, greed, blood are what we keep
Bring an end to this complexity, eventually


But why is it gone?
This is a thing that needs a thing that we can′t explain
And it pays nothing per day
Does your privilege deserve this?
Damning a soul choking there in the smog
For your greatest display, was it worth all the poisonous days
Human dignity up for sale, your ego in play, should your legacy repay?
