Cairn to God Songtext
von Mizmor
Cairn to God Songtext
Reduction to absurdity, God ground to powder,
Scattered in the wind, the sand beneath my feet.
Never to return, a lotus cannot slake.
I recall my path. Clearly I see,
God thrown down in that great arena.
Fighting to follow with rigor,
I allowed him to seep to my core.
Copious trials produced an end,
Not without the pains of birth.
Dogged from the vast elapsing,
I wavered in my due cessation.
I won the knowledge, fully imbued,
That God is counterfeit and false.
My knowing is empirical, and tested,
Memorialized by a towering cairn.
Nostalgia for the absolute, ever potent fume,
Is only a spandrel of human unfolding.
Evolution′s consequence, company to chaos,
To ramify, inspiring awe.
Supernatural anxiety shan't evoke belief.
Acutest sense of agency, transposed by fools.
Reseal the tomb.
Scattered in the wind, the sand beneath my feet.
Never to return, a lotus cannot slake.
I recall my path. Clearly I see,
God thrown down in that great arena.
Fighting to follow with rigor,
I allowed him to seep to my core.
Copious trials produced an end,
Not without the pains of birth.
Dogged from the vast elapsing,
I wavered in my due cessation.
I won the knowledge, fully imbued,
That God is counterfeit and false.
My knowing is empirical, and tested,
Memorialized by a towering cairn.
Nostalgia for the absolute, ever potent fume,
Is only a spandrel of human unfolding.
Evolution′s consequence, company to chaos,
To ramify, inspiring awe.
Supernatural anxiety shan't evoke belief.
Acutest sense of agency, transposed by fools.
Reseal the tomb.
