Keep me safe in your foggy memory
I hope it′s not the same old stories
And I'll try to replace them quickly
Everything is a shell of what it used to be

I′m always trying to come up with excuses for my actions
This is just the beginning

Maybe I was meant to be alone
I'm trying so hard
Everyday there's another problem
That I can′t solve


We have come so far or so we say
It′s too late to turn around anyway
I'll keep pushing and saying we′re meant to be
Even though this will all fail eventually

I'm always up for a challenge yet I still find myself asking
Is it worth it?
This is just the beginning
