The freezing cold makes me hurry
I just left the house
The party was under it′s way when a scream came from the bedroom
I was standing there with a gun in my hand
Afraid of my own shadow how could I kill
My friend was dead what else could I do than run


What a night
Do I realise what happened
The yellow cab rolled up in front of me
The sidecurb of the pavement was red
I touched the steel of the door handle
My hand got frozen
Pulled so hard that a piece of skin was left behind
Bring me uptown

The lights of the two towers were dim
I panicked but the elevators were still running
He came in from the past with one thought in his mind
He wanted to kill my son
I stopped him
His intentions to kill and being killed
Were justified by death
Up on the roof the stars are out in the sky
