That same old neon sign
I′ve passed 1,000 times
A late-night beacon of grease
For hungry passers-by looking for a release

I signal and check behind
It's the end of another line
It′s just about time for peace
On my weary travelin' mind, finally

But a closer look I'll never take
I don′t want to see the sign is not exactly the same
As far as I know it′s never changed
But baby those lights bring me a little bit of home in each new place
