Future Sight Songtext

Future Sight Songtext
Well the future kinda freaks me out
But I don′t really think about it all that much
But who the hell has so much time
To weave away the tapestry of their life
Much you were less a page
More a chapter in the whole of my book
I put my faith in outer space, underwater, and standing rock
Drift it back to "95
But I think that I got lost in the calamity of the city
You missed out on all the warning signs
Though, doubtful you'd have noticed even if they were neon lights
Much you were less a scene
More a leading role in the whole of my movie
I put my faith in the north country, great poets, and the cosmic sea
I were walkin′ down the line
When an unexpected phone call threw me off of a cliff
Didn't take me too long to decide
Whether rock bottom was the descent or the decline
Fell amongst the rocks below
And the vultures picked off the skin from my bones
Found myself a taxi ride
And with that I condemned my neglection of future sight
