As I walk through that gate
Who will shade my eyes
As the world explodes
In extraordinary light

Who will tune my ears
To the sounds unheard
The glorious barrage of beauty
Unbounded from the earth

I will go to that tree
By the sparkling stream
That gives life to all
Who shelter underneath

I will trace my hand
Through the wooden ravines
Feel the stories woven deep
All the joys and all the pains


Every tear and every laugh
Their purpose revealed
Every tear and every rip
Every broken heart is healed

I′ll see trepid feet approach
Wide-eyed wondrous belief
With trembling hands out cupped
For they're ready to receive

And I′ll see the Father's smile
And I'll feel his warm embrace
I will know that I am loved
I will know that I am safe

No more night and no more pain
Blows my mind and shakes my frame
