We call on a new day
To keep the settling of dust and debris away
We find it harder to say
What′s rattling around in the attic
Who's at play

Call on the doctor one too many a time
Hammer the iceberg
Keep your breathing in line

We fall on the blue hay
Smothered up so tightly in plastic
Ice cubes to soothe the day
We find it harder to play
But up here in the attic
The badminton rackets will green our ways


Skating fast, the island
Seasons mask the island
Fibreglass, the island
Frozen clasp, the island

Under the tip of the icicle
Can make decisions too difficult
Out go the herd to a new pasture
In comes another from further ago

White noise of mosquito
So many words that stutter and clutter
A need to be slow
The blue butterfly has shown
They′re out there with their nets and binoculars
Trying to find her back home
