When the morning sun arrives, I take my shield and sword
To fight the holy war in the name of our lord
Set sail to foreign shores, to the holy land
Jerusalem, where the journey ends


There are 100.000 men who are shaking the ground
Like thunder and lightning our voices shall resound
A kingdom of heaven is what we have found
We carry the sign of the cross, burn it to the ground

We reach the citadel their arrows fall like rain
There′s suffering and pain, the city lies in flames
Jerusalem shall fall in the name of God
I raise my sword knights of the cross

Saracen warriors their battlehorn sounds
Like thunder and lightning their voices shall resound
For glory and honour, for God and the crown
I die with a sword in my hand on this blood-drenched ground
