Leave the Armor Songtext

Leave the Armor Songtext
The steel on my shoulders has chipped
and I don′t know why
What are these weeds planted in my life
I should feel nothing, no worries, no cares
like a patch of snow
Where the armors cracks, a patch of grass will grow
To be bare is to gain the hurt
Without the glory
No sword in hand to battle the dark
But maybe it's okay to hold a flower
As vines begin to enfold my heart
I wouldn′t say it's better to let go
A wild garden is where the doubt grows
Tame what withers and water what shines
And if it hurts to hope, then take your time
Let the plants you seed be a thing you call mine
To shed skin is to let the world in
Crawling deeper
With its loving words and cruel grin
But to stand against its knifes You don't need chainmail
In your Field you can heal no matter your tale
And all these battles will have no meaning
You praise your lust while I praise the roses that are bleeding
Chip by chip the metal falls I feel the air I feel the fog
Don′t underestimate the power of your nature
The world is lush and nothing like portraiture
And even with the fighting is won
You won′t have to touch a gun
Tame what withers and water what shines
Leave the chaos far behind
Let your shoulders feel free
Lifting higher
In morning grow into what
you wish to be
You will feel something inside
that wasn't there before
Where the armors cracks, a patch of grass will grow
Where the armors cracks, a patch of grass will grow
and I don′t know why
What are these weeds planted in my life
I should feel nothing, no worries, no cares
like a patch of snow
Where the armors cracks, a patch of grass will grow
To be bare is to gain the hurt
Without the glory
No sword in hand to battle the dark
But maybe it's okay to hold a flower
As vines begin to enfold my heart
I wouldn′t say it's better to let go
A wild garden is where the doubt grows
Tame what withers and water what shines
And if it hurts to hope, then take your time
Let the plants you seed be a thing you call mine
To shed skin is to let the world in
