Why should I be religious?
Too many wars get in the way
If I should take these shades off
Will I see a better day?

It′s just a matter of time, not a matter of place
Before we change the point of view
And it's an issue of mine, it′s not a matter of race

Once the seeds are sown you′ll be amazed
And in some foreign land that′s not been touched by human hand
The future will be grown for better days

Nobody ever takes the blame
The politics of living
It's just the nature of the game

Imagine this if you will, you′re coming down from a hill
Unto a place you've never seen before
Where everything is so clear, you′ll know tomorrow is here
When you don't need a lock on your door
