The colonies crawling in their nests

Evoked the fury and flow
A vengeance from the gods

Distorted the voices of the feeble
Warped the tongues of the mortal
Scattered the uniform language

Simmering masses of rot
Unearthed by a rupturing pressure
Hiding the age-old scourge
Waiting to unleash the pestilence


And so came the locusts
Desolated the barren soil

Far below the terrain
Crawling maggots boil
Inside the frozen swamp

Hatching larvae anxious to burst
