Sunset Orange Songtext

Sunset Orange Songtext
I watch the bluebirds fly away
They look much prettier today
Their feathers match the skies bright blue
But they′re no prettier than you
If you ended this cycle
Then I'd spiral
Like the long crashing waves in your hair
If you said it was final
For survival
I′d act like I just didn't care
If I could drain the ocean,
To stop one single tear from your eye
Maybe I'd change the notion,
That when you love you don′t have to try
Forgetting your name, not playing your game,
Moving on that would just be a lie
But maybe there′s something in motion beneath the sunset orange sky
And now we're sitting in your room
Here waiting for the flowers to bloom
And I just don′t know what to say
'Cos you′re more gorgeous everyday
If you ended this cycle
Then I'd spiral
Like my heart when you just hold my stare
If you said it was final
For survival
I′d just pretend that you weren't there
If I could drain the ocean,
To stop one single tear from your eye
Maybe I'd change the notion,
That when you love you don′t have to try
Forgetting your name, not playing your game,
Moving on that would just be a lie
But maybe there′s something in motion beneath the sunset orange sky
And if my atoms fell apart you'd be the one thing that I′d miss
And if the beating of my heart prevents the last time that we kiss
Then I would go a thousand miles into the darkest farthest place
I would leave behind my hurt, my smiles my love just to see your face
If I could drain the ocean,
To stop one single tear from your eye
Maybe I'd change the notion,
That when you love you don′t have to try
Forgetting your name, not playing your game,
Moving on that would just be a lie
But maybe there's something in motion, beneath the sunset orange sky
Maybe there′s something in motion, beneath the sunset orange sky
They look much prettier today
