Crystal Water

Beautiful is the fragrance
The fragrance of the pîkake
The mist that accompanies the light rain
And gently moistens the skin

Peaceful is the fragrance
O pikake flower buds
In the mist of fine rain
In the happy sound of water over stones

Cold am I and throbbing
In the chilling water
The cold, crystal water

I'll remember you
My love for the tuberose (′ilima) flower
Windblown perfume to the heart
Rejoicing in the nectar of the flower

A patch of rainbow water
