Cheers Songtext

Cheers Songtext
And he-he just
Does what he wants to do
And he just exists
You know, it′s like
He's not inevered by all the bullshit
He′s very much real and uhm
But yet there's a side of him, that's so cut off
That he′s damaged, but he′s still free
I woke up today feeling everything was strange
Next day, same thing no better no change
The cranes don't move the concrete ain′t poured
Sitting watching ants drown and I ain't bored
Waiting for the paint to dry waiting for the faint
To cry out loud, I ain′t ready to die right now
What if death was our birth and we re-winded in time
So every day we got younger and our hunger grew hundredfold
Our minds blew thunder underneath the summit climb
When it's undermined the sun′ll shine but none of it's mine
I'll be damn if the dipstick dips below the lip lock
Hold your forked tongue viper spit back with shit talk
Jesus, H christ, I have this ten years relationship
With space, I wanna keep it from collapsing
It′s a blow, reopen, please
And it′s outta action
I'm a product of my passion
Knowing anything can happen
I′ve been an optimist, communist, a populist
I've lived autonomous anonymous I′ve seen the walls fall
I've seen the fallen rise and start walking
I′ve seen the calling chosen and sat staring back frozen
Watching you
Watching me
I'm loving you
You're mocking me
Talking to myself and can′t see it stopping you from dropping me
Watching you
Watching me
I′m loving you
You're mocking me
Talking to myself and can′t see it stopping you from dropping me
You can't judge a man by the size of his glasses
You can change the outcome just take a few classes
Ask a few questions if you don′t know the answer to the
Age old riddle, what does it all mean?
I don't kiss and tell or scratch or sniff
I can tell the difference between fact and myth
Been trying to write hooks, sing songs, write books
Playing ping pong on my porch to slightly odd looks
I get a lot of t-shirts, I just don′t wear
I got debts I can't pay but I just don't care
I got some shit to deal with feeling like I gotta heal
See I used to steal kisses now I give ′em back
At front of the line at the back of the class
I raise my hand and my half empty glass
It′s a slippery slope trying to cope of course
With the strange strain of fame in a vein feels forced
Maybe I'm wasting my time but I made up my mind
I wanna do rhyming maybe leave school behind and
Can′t complain, it's been a motto of mine for some time
Can′t ever sit still when outside the sun shine
Been on my grind been going out my mind
Turn up everything and feel it in your spine
Designed by a live band to get crowds moving
The rebirth of dancing let's start the movement
Yelling cheers, summer, cheers birthdays
Cheers, midriff beers so thirsty
Cheers, laughter cheers good times
Cheers, to the ciphers when you got your good rhymes
Cheers, homies cheers ladies
Lets hear it for the spirit that′ll make some babies
Cheers, the boogie cheers to humping
Cheers, that's for looking at me like I'm up to something
Oh, watching you (watching you)
Watching me (watching me)
I′m loving you (loving you)
You′re mocking me (you're mocking me)
Yeah, I listen
I fall asleep on people too
But I listen some
No matter what you do in life
People are gonna say
You do it for another reason other than what you′re doing
I just do it because I do it
Like a spider makes a web, a fish swims
I drank and I gambled and I
I'm watching you
Watching me
Loving you
You′re mocking me
Talking to myself and can't see it stopping you from dropping me
I′m watching you
Watching me
Loving you
You're mocking me
Talking to myself and can't see it stopping you from dropping me
I′m back to this place
It burned up, burnt out
The roof wasn′t even on the place anymore
Big place (big place) huge (huge)
The bar way at the back and a big dance floor
And so we set up the first night
And go down to the place to play
And we go in there and there's about
In this huge place about three people in the audience
Uh, one armed go-go dancer
And uh, a couple of drunk waiters
Does what he wants to do
And he just exists
You know, it′s like
He's not inevered by all the bullshit
He′s very much real and uhm
But yet there's a side of him, that's so cut off
